The College Board has released a preview of the new SAT set to take effect in Spring 2016.

Key features of the new test include:

-1600-point scale with optional Essay.

-No penalty for wrong answers.

-Computer-based testing option.

-Math section: questions that "matter most for college and career readiness and success."

-Reading section: discontinued testing of esoteric vocabulary words and inclusion of a passage from the U.S. founding documents on every test.
